Woodpig Live at Greyskull

We’re excited to announce that Woodpig will be performing live at Greyskull on Bank Holiday Sunday, 24 May.

The band will take the stage from 3pm, bringing their beautifully atmospheric indie folk sound to an afternoon of live music in Hastings.

Woodpig began as a deeply personal songwriting project from Al Mitchell, who returned to music after a period of major life changes. What started as a solitary creative outlet quickly grew into a full band built around close friends and collaborators.

Their debut single “When the Winds Came” captures the emotional heart of the project: intimate songwriting shaped by themes of loss, resilience and renewal. Woodpig’s sound blends folk instrumentation with spacious arrangements and raw, honest lyrics, creating music that feels both vulnerable and quietly powerful.

Recorded largely in Mitchell’s own back room and shaped through collaboration with the band, their music has a DIY spirit that values character, atmosphere and authenticity over perfection.

We’re really looking forward to welcoming them to Greyskull for what should be a brilliant Bank Holiday Sunday afternoon of live music.
