Lily Ramona is an East Sussex-based indie folk singer-songwriter known for emotionally rich songwriting, atmospheric live performances and a distinctive, expressive voice.

Raised in a deeply musical family rooted in London’s punk scene, Lily grew up surrounded by live music, harmony singing and performance. Her early career led to international touring with folk-country trio The Hank Dogs, where she supported artists including Joan Baez in the United States and worked with legendary producer Joe Boyd, known for his work with Nick Drake, R.E.M., Vashti Bunyan and The Incredible String Band.

Now performing as a trio, Lily is joined by Trevor Moss on bass and Steve Brookes on drums.

Trevor Moss, known from acclaimed folk duo Trevor Moss & Hannah-Lou, has toured internationally and supported artists including Tori Amos, Damon Albarn and Ron Sexsmith. His melodic and understated bass playing brings depth and warmth to the trio’s sound.

Steve Brookes, best known for his work with Danny & The Champions of the World, brings soulful rhythms and years of touring experience, adding subtle groove and texture throughout the performance.

Together, the trio create a live show that feels intimate, timeless and quietly powerful — blending folk, Americana and roots-rock into something both relaxed and emotionally engaging.

About Après Beach at Greyskull

Après Beach – Live at 5 is Greyskull’s summer live music series in Hastings, inspired by the atmosphere of après ski — that early evening moment when people come together after a day out for drinks, food and music.

Hosted every Saturday from June to September, the series brings live music to Greyskull’s sheltered courtyard just behind Queens Road in Hastings. Events are free to attend and designed as relaxed early evening sessions with food, drinks and live performances.

Greyskull is an independent coffee shop, bar and events space known for its welcoming atmosphere, courtyard setting and community-focused events programme.
