Christmas Food Market

Our regular food markets take place alongside the Waterworks Yard Makers Market and Neighbourhood Pottery Market, with all three markets happening on the same day around Queen’s Road.

We all promote each other’s events, encouraging people to explore the different markets and spend the day around the Queen’s Road area. We’ve run several of these market days already and they’ve been really well attended, with a great flow of people moving between the different venues.

At St Andrew’s Mews, our focus is food.

We’re open to pretty much anything produced, grown or made locally — sweet or savoury, baked goods, preserves, sauces, confectionery, produce, farmed products, food gifts and anything else you think would work at a food market.

We want a really good mix of traders and products, and particularly want to give local independent food producers somewhere affordable to sell their stuff and meet new customers.

Stalls are just £25 per market.

Once the market finishes, we’ll also have live music at Greyskull, so there’s plenty happening throughout the day and into the evening.

🎃 Halloween Food Market — 31 October

Halloween is a little different.

This one isn’t running alongside the other Queen’s Road markets — instead, we’re making a big day of Halloween at St Andrew’s Mews itself.

If you’ve ever seen the Mews at Halloween, you’ll know the owners go all out with decorations, and this year we’ll be adding a live rock-band karaoke party.

This isn’t karaoke with a backing track. You get up and sing with an actual band behind you — drums, bass, guitars, the lot. We’ve done one of these before and it was absolutely packed, so we’re expecting Halloween to be a big one.

For this market we’d especially love Halloween-themed food, trick-or-treat treats, sweets, cakes, spooky bakes, food gifts and anything else you can give a Halloween twist — although all food producers are still very welcome.

We’ll be putting plenty of promotion behind the day in the run-up to Halloween.

All market stalls are £25.

If you make it, bake it, grow it or produce it, we’d love to hear from you.

If you’d like to take part, please fill out the form below.
