Baked at Greyskull
Cakes baked here.
We’ve said before that we want Greyskull to be more than somewhere that just serves coffee and cake.
But that doesn’t mean we don’t take cake very seriously.
We’d always wanted someone in-house who could make the kind of cakes and little treats that feel like part of Greyskull, rather than something we’d simply bought in.
Then Chloe turned up at one of our markets.
She had a stall selling her own cakes, we tried them, loved them, and got chatting.
We asked whether baking was her full-time thing or still a bit of a side hustle.
It turned out to be the latter.
Which was lucky for us.
Meet Chloe
Chloe doesn’t make cakes somewhere else and drop them off.
She’s part of the Greyskull team.
She comes in, works in the kitchen with us and spends the day baking.
And, just as importantly, she’s a massive Greyskull vibe.
We wanted her to be part of the team as much as we wanted her cakes.
Baked here
She now makes our cake of the week, plus cookies, muffins and, crucially, lamingtons.
We might be serious about the savoury side of Greyskull, but cake gets just as much attention here.
And Chloe’s a big reason why.
