Haystingers Live in Hastings

Haystingers are a Hastings and St Leonards-based queer party band known for energetic live shows, nostalgic pop covers and a fiercely fun atmosphere.

Originally formed as an Alanis Morissette covers band under the name Lez Is More, the group has evolved into a full-blown celebration of early-2000s pop culture, queer camp spirit and crowd-pleasing singalongs.

Their live sets jump between iconic pop anthems, alternative favourites and karaoke classics, creating performances that are loud, playful and impossible not to join in with. Expect huge choruses, dancing, audience participation and a healthy amount of chaotic good energy.

Rather than a polished theatre-style performance, Haystingers lean fully into the joy of live music as shared experience — the atmosphere of a packed house party where everybody somehow knows the words.

About Après Beach at Greyskull

Après Beach – Live at 5 is Greyskull’s summer live music series in Hastings, inspired by the atmosphere of après ski — early evening music, drinks and social energy after a day by the sea.

Taking place every Saturday from June to September, the series brings live music to Greyskull’s sheltered courtyard just behind Queens Road in Hastings. Events are free to attend and designed as relaxed but lively early evening sessions with food, drinks and live music.

Greyskull is an independent coffee shop, bar and events space with a welcoming atmosphere and strong connection to Hastings’ creative and LGBTQ+ communities.
