Raclette Comes to Hastings 🧀

The big wheels of melted cheese are coming to Hastings — and you’re invited to our very first Raclette Night.

We have just 28 seats for this cosy evening inside Greyskull, where we’ll be serving:

• Golden melted raclette cheese poured over crispy new potatoes
• A selection of ham, salami, and of course our homemade bacon
• Steamed broccoli and cauliflower (perfect under a blanket of cheese)
• Pickles
• Rustic baguettes to mop it all up

There will also be optional side dishes, delicious wines, and our signature house beer — Swiss 1936, brewed with Swiss mineral water.

Why Raclette?

Every year on our ski trips, Daniel and I fall in love with raclette all over again. There’s nothing quite like gathering around a wheel of melting cheese, sharing food, and raising a glass.

We can’t bring you the mountains — but we can bring you the cheese, the wine, and the beer.

Raclette Christmas Parties 🎄

This is just the start. We’re also planning Raclette Christmas Parties here in Hastings:

• Book a private party for up to 12 people in Santa’s Grotto
• Larger groups of up to 28 can celebrate in Greyskull
• Combine raclette with meeting the real Santa — perfect for kids and adults (with a cheeky grown-ups-only version, too)
• Join one of our regular Friday Raclette Nights, or talk to us about hosting a private party on other dates

FAQ

Is there a vegetarian option?

Yes – the raclette cheese is vegetarian and we can serve you a plate without meat. Just let us know on arrival and we’ll give you a little extra cheese and veg instead of charcuterie.

Is there a vegan option?

We haven’t ordered vegan cheese yet as we’re not sure about demand. But if you would like to attend and you are vegan, please drop us an email at daniel@greyskull.co.uk and we’ll gladly explore some options for you.

Can children attend?

Children are welcome, but spaces are limited to just 28 seats. For future raclette nights, we’ll be adding a children’s option. However, for our first event, each person attending will need to buy a full-priced ticket and will receive an adult-sized plate.

Will one plate be enough if I’m very hungry?

We understand (too well)! Worry not—there will be a selection of sides including extra cheesy potatoes, Toulouse sausages, bread, veg, and meats which you can order on the night to accompany the plate of food included in your ticket price.

Will there be pudding?

Yes - what that is we havnt quite figured out. There will certainly be our homemade carrot cake and brownie but maybe some extra things too.
